About Me
My Mission
“I believe that everyone, of all ages and capabilities, has the right to a healthy lifestyle.”
When I started this work, I was focused primarily on fitness training and exercise, but as I continued to meet and work with unique new people, I found that the scope of my work was expanding. Exercise and physical movement will always be a part of my plan, but incorporating nutrition and mental health has helped many of the wonderful people who work with me reach health goals they are actually able to sustain.
Health is a Lifestyle
Exercise can be daunting for some people, and I am looking to help those individuals incorporate fitness into their daily routines without adding stress.
Health is more than just going to the gym or attending a workout class. Walking, stretching, dancing, roller-skating, and even video games like “Just Dance” or “Nintendo Sports” are some example alternatives to moving your body. Everyone is built different and I will customize your fitness plan to your abilities and preferences.
Mental Health and Nutrition
I am passionate about nutrition and psychology and believe that what you eat and how you handle stress contributes to your health journey just as much as exercise.
I have my Masters in Nutrition and will be applying to PhD programs in Clinical Psychology. While I don’t believe in weigh-ins or calorie counting, I can introduce you to free apps that help you better understand your nutrition as well as a wonderful Registered Dietician that I work with, for those who are interested.
Making Exercise Accessible
I design individualized workouts depending on your needs and abilities, and the space and equipment you have available.
Everyone is different, with varying physical abilities and personal preferences. We can train wherever is most comfortable for you - whether that’s at your gym, in your home, or at a public park.
I’m looking forward to working with you!
